What K-emoji Does

K-emoji uses on-device face detection to find faces in your photos and automatically place Korean consonants and vowels (hangul) over the eyes. You can then add more letters anywhere on the photo to customize the look. The result is a fun, creative image unique to each face.

All processing happens entirely on your device. No photos, data, or results are ever sent to any server.

How It Works

• K-emoji uses on-device face detection to find eye positions locally on your device.

• Hangul characters are placed automatically over the detected eye positions. You can then add more letters and reposition them freely. Placement and size may vary depending on photo quality, lighting, and face angle.

• Results are for creative and entertainment purposes only. Accuracy of face detection is not guaranteed for all photos.

Photos & Privacy

• K-emoji requests access to your photo library only to let you select a photo to process and to save the result.

• Your photos never leave your device. No image data is transmitted, uploaded, or shared with any third party.

• K-emoji does not store, index, or retain any photos between sessions.

No Guarantees

• K-emoji is provided as-is. The developer makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, quality, or suitability of results.

• The developer is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of this app, including data loss, device issues, or disputes related to shared content.

• Face detection may fail on some photos (e.g., low resolution, extreme angles, occlusions). This is a known limitation of on-device face detection.

Your Responsibility

• You confirm that you have the right to use any photo you process with K-emoji (e.g., you took it, or have permission from the person pictured).

• You are solely responsible for how you share or publish results created with K-emoji. Please be mindful of others' privacy and dignity when sharing edited photos.
